About True Blue Creations
I’m Husai, the founder and lead designer behind True Blue Creations. Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of planning and designing more than 150 weddings, events, and celebrations across Calgary, Banff, Canmore, Chestermere, and beyond. What began as a creative passion has grown into a full-service event planning and event rental company known for thoughtful design, meticulous attention to detail, and unforgettable “first look” moments.
My journey into event planning started long before True Blue Creations existed. When I was preparing for my own wedding, I found myself completely immersed in décor, design, and the emotional impact that beautiful spaces can create. I began making every detail by hand — centerpieces, décor pieces, backdrops — and friends and family quickly began asking, “You made that?!” That spark never left.
From there, I started helping friends with birthdays, bridal showers, and milestone events. I poured my heart into each celebration, designing custom décor and creating backdrops from scratch. The joy on people’s faces when they walked into the room — that first look — made it clear that this was more than a hobby. It was a calling.
